Gerry began her career as a restaurateur early in life. She’s been in the food/bar industry for 14 years. Her very first job was ironically at a sushi bar. From there, she worked at a big chain restaurant throughout high school and the casinos in Biloxi, Mississippi while she was in college.
She’s always had a passion for good food from all over the world. When they created the menu, that was a big influence. She wanted it to be diversified and be able to cater to everyone.
At the age of 22, she co-founded Rock N Roll Sushi. She is very hands on with all of the restaurants. She says she enjoys the fast paced environment and the challenges that comes along with it. As a young leader, she hopes to empower other young entrepreneurs. She says "With hard work, determination, creativity, and self growth, great things start to happen."
